From Nina Thornton on March 6th, 2018
Robert L. "Bob" Adams is a member of a family that is historically significant to Oklahoma State University. Bob’s father, James Homer Adams, and uncle, Arthur Wesley Adams, were members of OSU’s first graduating class in 1896. Bob’s father also has the distinction of being the first student to enroll at OSU. Many descendants of Art and Homer have attended OSU in the following four generations. In this oral history interview excerpt from the O-STATE Stories oral history collection, Adams looks back on his father’s history with the university.
